When Teachiq was founded, the view of the teacher was fundamental - and it still is today. We are here to simplify the everyday life of teachers and many of us who work here think it is an important and urgent task.
Another thing that was present from the start was the desire to create the workplace we wanted to work at ourselves. A pleasant workplace where we want to accomplish things and develop and where results are more important than how many hours you put in. We think we have succeeded in creating this workplace - you thrive and develop with us.
Another thing that we think is important is that we are transparent and honest - that we are authentic. We do not pretend to be something we are not, but we proudly show what we achieve. Being genuine gives a good gut feeling for employees and builds trust with users over time. We are not dependent on external funding, so no one forces us to spend too much one year and cut costs the next. All these parts contribute to a good and healthy atmosphere without drama and politics.
We expect all employees to be driven, able to find things out for themselves and take their own initiatives. This means that the culture is characterized by a high level of trust in each other and means that we can work efficiently together even in situations where there is some ambiguity. Even though many employees can quickly take on great responsibility with us, we win together. Therefore, all employees are covered by the profit-sharing program and are rewarded when we succeed really well.

As Head of Marketing, my goal is to grow the awareness and usage of our various products and to lead the marketing team and external partners. That means working across many offline and online channels to increase our brand awareness, web traffic, lead generation, activation and retention.
For me, Teachiq is a very special place. The warm and friendly atmosphere and the trust the company is putting in me is unparalleled to many other workplaces. You are really given the opportunity to form your path here. My ideas and thoughts are valued and I can try a lot of things out - it's definitely a test & learn mentality at Teachiq. To work in the EdTech industry, which will only grow, is super exciting at the same time as the mission of helping teachers and schools feels meaningful.
As a full-stack developer at Teachiq, I am part of building and shipping applications using a variety of interesting technologies, tools and programming languages. We build web applications as well as native applications, and all developers are welcome to work on both of these types. Our ways of working allow for quick iteration and feedback, and let me constantly improve as a developer and quickly see the results of what we achieve. Great improvement suggestions can be deployed to production on the very same day and immediately bring value to users, which is a very rewarding feeling. We also highly value undisturbed focus time, which is necessary to solve challenging problems.
Having previously worked as a teacher, I know how much time and effort teachers put into their work, and how much they care about their students. Developing software that helps teachers in their work and that facilitates students in their learning process feels fulfilling and meaningful, and motivates me to keep improving as a developer. Teachiq encourages constant learning, and allows me to work with very talented and friendly colleagues that motivate me and help me improve even further.

At Teachiq we have two high-functioning and talented product teams that all share a genuine curiosity and passion for building amazing products. But in order to do so, we need to have that deep understanding of the problems, the needs and desires of teachers and students - in Sweden and abroad. Since several of my colleagues have a teaching background I have direct access to a great source of wisdom in order to understand the realities of the classroom which is great. In my role as a product lead for one of our products I feel very fortunate to work in a field where we have the opportunity to make a significant impact on education globally. If we can build innovative tools and solutions we know that we will make an impact on student outcomes and help address educational challenges. That is one big reason why I love coming to work everyday.
As Head of KM, I have a very varied and stimulating job. My main task is to lead the work for KM so that all parts of the team work towards the same goal, from product to customer success. I can move from detailed discussions about product development to more strategic issues such as business development in the same day. My teaching background is an important asset in my role, not least it is a strong source of motivation - I want to be part of improving the work situation for all teachers.
I have been at Teachiq for many years now and the company has grown a lot since I started in 2017. We are still a relatively small company with a very high commitment to employees, our products and our users. As new professional roles have been added to the company, our work processes have also developed and improved, it is incredibly inspiring and instructive to work in an environment where development is always in focus.

As Customer Success Manager for Exam.net, my primary focus is on ensuring the success and satisfaction of our users. I work diligently to support educators and institutions in optimizing their experience with Exam.net's suite of tools. My role involves collaborating closely with users, addressing queries, and providing valuable insights to enhance their overall engagement with the platform.
